We also provide a dedicated removal service for items you want to keep, get valued or delivered safely to auction. Recycling and reuse matter to us — we always aim to minimise landfill and maximise donations wherever possible.
Our Story
Founded in 2022
LB Clearances is built on years of hands-on experience in the clearance and removals industry. Our aim is simple: provide a service that’s professional, affordable, and responsible — with recycling and donation built into how we work.
I came to clearances after completing a masters at the University of Birmingham and a few years in construction. It turned out to be a perfect fit — a trade that combines a genuine interest in history and antiques with honest, practical hard graft, and the satisfaction of providing a service people really need. What We Stand For
Recycling
We work hard to send as little as possible to landfill. Everything we collect is sorted carefully — metals go for scrap, usable items go to charity, and we only resort to the tip when there is genuinely no other option. Responsible disposal isn’t an afterthought for us; it’s built into how we operate.
Charity
We’ve donated to and supported local charities since the business began, raising almost £7,000 so far. If you’d like us to donate items from your clearance rather than dispose of them, just let us know — we’re always happy to help where we can.
Licensed Carrier
We are a registered and licensed waste carrier (licence no. CBDU46037), which means your waste is handled and disposed of legally and responsibly. We take a zero-tolerance approach to fly-tipping, and all waste is documented and disposed of through approved channels.
